The Full Story

About

Jackson Preparatory Academy SOPA was founded in 2023 in dedication to the Late Paul Toni Jackson. We have a dedicated group of professionals and educators working together to provide a safe and secure learning environment for our students. Paul Toni Jackson, a passionate Performer and Teacher who taught the art of Music, Singing to many, including his daughters, who are the owners of this great program.

Our Arts Program is Located in the Historic Beulah Beal Elementary School This building was built in 1911, and originally called West Springfield. Also called Beulah Beal Young Parents Center, was a public school in the Duval County School District. It served students in grades PK-12 and minority enrollment was 92%. It closed in 2007. Our Goal Is to bring back education to the community.

We will keep his legacy alive by providing our students with the opportunity to learn through the arts. At Jackson Preparatory Academy SOPA ,we strive to develop each student's skills and talents to their fullest potential. With a focus on creative expression, we encourage our students to pursue their passions and pursue their dreams. Our teachers and staff work hard to ensure our students are supported in their learning journey and to ensure they reach their highest potential.

Our teachers strive to create a positive learning atmosphere that encourages critical thinking, collaboration and creativity. We believe that education should take place in a fully inclusive environment with equal opportunities for all and that all children should learn to value themselves. Our statement “DREAM, BELIEVE, ACHIEVE” reflects our understanding and beliefs. We aim to ensure that the children at our school are provided with high-quality learning experiences that will enable them to become successful and responsible citizens.
